Yes!! Now how do we coax the sage OFF the stage and encourage them to learn WITH and FROM their learners?
The frustration of working alongside them wears me out; it’s such a passionless way to open up the world of possibilities to our students. Is it any wonder some kids regard school as a big black hole in their day?
After the last school term with me trying to find ways to make 21st Century learning palatable for everyone else I have decided to get wise, choose my battles as it were, focus on the kids in whom I see a glimmer of a passion for learning and make THEIR school year one for them to remember….after all isn’t it about time the ‘good’ kids got some fun out of their passion for learning and not just a dusty old book prize at the end of the year?
